Lofoten Asset Management is a newly established long only asset management firm owned by Willem Vinke. Lofoten Asset Management's initial focus will be the management of a pan European equity strategy. The investment strategy builds upon Willem's eighteen years of financial market experience while at Morgan Stanley and JO Hambro Capital Management.
The investment process can be described as bottom-up stock picking in companies that are believed to be fundamentally undervalued. The investment process will be highly selective with preference given to companies with high levels of free cash flow, undervalued growth and strong market positions. There will an absolute performance orientation with little regard for any benchmarks.
